Things are heating up in the world of gaming as Coghweel Software, the developers of Hidden Deep have today revealed that the game will receive an update titled ‘Kill it With Fire’ that will introduce new NCP’s and a tasty new flamethrower.
Developed by Coghweel Software, ‘Hidden Deep’ is a 80s/90s inspired science fiction horror game in which players explore a suboceanic research and mining facility. Players can play solo or cooperatively with friends. The game is currently available in early access on Steam, with content snippets being posted regularly on the games TikTok account.
What’s in the ‘Hidden Deep: Kill it With Fire’ Update?
The most recent update, ‘Kill it With Fire’ introduces a total of three new enemies to the game which will make exploring the facility more dangerous, and fun, than ever before. Players will be faced with zombie-like transmorphs, scuttle bugs, and a host of other enemies as they explore the facility.
If that wasn’t enough, Coghweel Software have also added a tasty new flamethrower which is sure to warm things up and help exterminate the evils players will encounter during their explorations. Or, if you prefer more relaxed methods, there are a host of submachine guns, shotguns, and pistols available for players to utilise.
The update also introduces a number of NPC’s, which are a first for the game, and at the moment, are friendly and offer assistance to players. There is no promise that they will stay harmless forever, however, and players could find themselves having to fight them in the future.
